We're still trying to find out a bit more about the Body Sculpture Club.
It was in existence in the 1930s when it operated in Surbiton, Surrey. By the 1950s they had moved to Worcester Park, also in Surrey.
It was founded by George Jowett and then, some time later, continued by George Greenwood. By that time among the other contributors were Boss, Arnold Dyson (Mr. Universe 1953), Reub Martin, Mervin Cotter (Mr. Britain), Spencer Churchill (Champion Bodybuilder), Jack King (Mr Army, Mr. South Britain), Al Murray (British Weightlifting Coach). A lot of the exercises were posed by Tony Martin.
