The Life Size Cast of Eugen Sandow - created in 1901

The lifesize cast of Eugen Sandow was made for the Natural History Museum, London in 1901. For very many years now it has languished, in pieces, in the basement of the Museum, unseen and almost forgotten. It has been removed only twice in the last 20 years. For a brief period of time it was taken to another museum for public display and on another occasion it was removed and a copy made which was commissioned, at enormous expense, by no less than Arnold Schwarzenegger to add to his collection of Sandow memorabilia.
